My Avon Rep Story:
I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and still live locally. I have my Masters in Teaching for Early and Elementary Education and I am an early childhood educator. I have been teaching since 2012. I joined Avon in August 2011 in order to earn an income around going to college full time. When I first joined Avon, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and I had never heard of direct sales. My mother had actually been an Avon Representative briefly before I was born and she shared some about the company with me and said that I should go for it! I met with my upline sales leader and she signed me up and the rest is history! Over the last several years, Avon has become a major passion of mine and I have enjoyed being able to share Avon and its products and missions with those around me. In 2013, I took an interest in expanding my online Avon business and since then I have been blogging and growing my Social Media presence. Avon is truly loved by many and when you start sharing that online you can really see the love and support from others worldwide. Even though we can only serve customers in the United States and share the Avon opportunity with those in the USA, worldwide followers will find you on Social Media and the web. In 2015, I was awarded the Spirit of Avon award for sharing my knowledge of success with fellow representatives (even those that were not on my personal team) and in 2014, I earned the coveted President’s Club sales level and my first Mrs. P.F.E. Albee figurine. Mrs. P.F.E. Albee was the first Avon Lady back when David McConnell (Avon’s founder) had the California Perfume Company (which later became Avon Products). In 2016, Avon Products North America was bought out and thus New Avon, LLC was born. I have been super excited for the new changes of New Avon, LLC! My goals in 2020 are to continue to grow my online presence, maintain President’s Club sales level and increase my sales over 2019, and build my team of representatives to grow my leadership skills. I do not have a family yet, but my hope is that when I decide to start one I can use Avon as a source of income in order to stay at home with my children when they are small like my mom stayed home with me and my brother until we both were in school.

How does being an Avon Rep Work?
The basics? Avon is a network marketing and direct selling company. What does this mean? Avon Representatives are independent distributors of Avon Products. New Avon, LLC is a private company that holds the Avon North American business in Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico that still has the rights to the products and product names from Avon Products, Inc which is now based out of Great Britain. New Avon, LLC is based in the United States. Many of the products for New Avon, LLC are made in the United States. Representatives that sign on for the United States business may only sell within the United States. Representatives in the United States are independent sellers of New Avon, LLC and do not work for the company. Independent means you work for yourself, you just have the support of an internationally recognized brand and a national company. Avon Representatives are not only distributors, but consultants that help customers find the best products based on wants and needs. Customers love the personal interaction that doesn’t come with other companies outside of the direct selling industry. Even if you sell mostly online, you can still offer this personal service via social media, phone, emails, and blogs. Basically, as an Avon Independent Representative, you will market the products to customers by sharing brochures, personal reviews, samples, demos, and talking about the products with others. You collect orders online and for face to face distribution. You make 20-40% based on your sales levels. You also have the option to make money by mentoring other people that you bring into the business through the Sales Leadership program. Feel free to leave a reply on the bottom of this page with any questions and I will do my best to answer promptly.
I’m selling avon
Great! Thanks for visiting my blog. I do have an area dedicated to Rep tips, but I haven’t kept it as up to date as I’d like. Lol. I do from time to time posts geared towards tips for selling. I’m pretty good at putting those posts in the right category. You can get to the latest ones here: https://www.bethebestyoucanbebeautyblog.com/category/avon-a-mazing-reps/tips-to-sell-for-avon-independent-reps/ How long have you sold?
