Some representatives choose to sell Avon online only. Avon makes it easy by providing a free website for you to use to get customers throughout the United States and to build your team. To sign up to sell Avon online, you will follow the same process as if you planned to sell Avon through face to face means.

How to Sell Avon Online

The first thing that you will need to do is to register your account at youravon.com
Once you register, set up your online store and personalize it by adding your picture and a short description in the description area. You can personalize your eStore any time through your representative back office.
Take the training that Avon provides for free through the representative website. Once you do the initial trainings you will unlock a training specific to selling Avon through Social Media.
Utilize the Avon Social platform to share Avon products and the opportunity as well as a multitude of content provided for free by Avon for you to share on your Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest pages.
Start a blog. Blogging is one of the best ways to drive traffic to your Avon website. In a blog you can talk about your journey as an Avon representative, write posts such as this one to find new team members, and write product posts to promote new products and review your favorites as well as just provide information about the products Avon offers.
Promote on Instagram (make your account business or create a new account that is business and connect it to your Facebook business page). On Instagram it is best to promote your own images with products that you are using personally as well as journey posts and lifestyle posts about your life as an Avon Representative.
Utilize Facebook Live, Instagram Live, IGTV, Periscope and YouTube for video marketing. You can do all sorts of videos. Videos about your Avon journey, videos about incentives, tip videos, makeup tutorials, skin care information, etc. It is basically an open canvas. There are loads of Avon representatives on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook that you can follow to see what they are doing. You can always feel free to follow me (my Social Media accounts are below).
Most importantly, have fun and be authentic! The most successful online sellers and business builders are those that are building their business authentically. They are not “spammers” trying to sell, sell, sell as much as people that are authentic sharing their favorite products and favorite aspects of being an Avon Representative.

Can I make money selling Avon online only?

The answer to this question is yes. Avon will give you the same commissions based on your online sales during a two week period as you are given with face to face sales. Online earnings are credited to your Avon account. If you are planning to sell strictly online, you should sign up for direct deposit so that your online earnings from your eStore can be deposited into your bank account on the 1st and 15th of the month (or close to those dates). Do realize that it can take time to build an online following and to have success with strictly online efforts. You can increase this a little bit when you still reach out to friends and family and encourage them to order through your online store as well as when you start your online efforts in the beginning such as starting a blog from the beginning. Do note that if you plan to blog you need to do a little research to find the best platform for you to use. If you are unsure reach out to your Mentor (the representative who you sign up under). A little more about me: I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and still live locally. I have my Masters in Teaching for Early and Elementary Education and I am an early childhood educator. I have been teaching since 2012. I joined Avon in August 2011 in order to earn an income around going to college full time. When I first joined Avon, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and I had never heard of direct sales. My mother had actually been an Avon Representative briefly before I was born and she shared some about the company with me and said that I should go for it! I met with my mentor and she signed me up and the rest is history! Over the last several years, Avon has become a major passion of mine and I have enjoyed being able to share Avon and it’s products and missions with those around me.In 2013, I took an interest in expanding my online Avon business and since then I have been blogging and growing my Social Media presence. In 2018, I was honored by Avon to participate in three pilot programs to do with growing my sales online because of my growth in online sales. In 2018, I doubled my online sales over my 2017 online sales. Avon is truly loved by many and when you start sharing that online you can really see the love and support from others worldwide. Even though we can only serve customers in the United States and share the Avon opportunity with those in the USA, worldwide followers will find you on Social Media and the web. In 2015, I was awarded the Spirit of Avon award and I earned the coveted President’s Club sales level and my first Mrs. P.F.E. Albee figurine. Mrs. P.F.E. Albee was the first Avon Lady back when David McConnell (Avon’s founder) had the California Perfume Company (which later became Avon Products). In 2016, Avon Products North America was bought out and thus New Avon, LLC was born. I have been super excited for the new changes of New Avon, LLC! My goals in 2019 are to continue to grow my online presence, maintain President’s Club sales level and increase my sales over 2018, and add more people to my team A-Mazing Reps by helping others to start their own Avon businesses and build those businesses to be successful and help them reach their goals. I do not have a family yet, but my hope is that when I decide to start one I can use Avon as a source of income in order to stay at home with my children when they are small like my mom stayed home with me and my brother until we both were in school.
